General Information
Fragrance chemicals, either synthetic or natural, which have FEMA numbers, are retrieved
through "Fragrance Chemical Search" feature.
Natural: All natural ingredients like essential oils, botanical extracts, absolutes,
etc. are retrieved through the "Natural Search" feature.
If you cannot find a particular ingredient, try searching by FEMA number if it is a chemical,
or search by category. Example: Choose "Contains" from the drop down list box, and then type in
Ethyl Cap in the Ingredient Name text box next to "Contains". This will return all ethyl caproates,
caprylates and caprates.
For natural ingredients, use the drop down list boxes to list all Orange oils, etc.
Or type in Orange in the ingredient name text box, and set the search criteria to "contains" or "starts with".
Search Tips:
Clear previous search with the "Reset" command button before a new search.
It is faster to use the Back button on the Browser, that the New Search Button on the
results screen. If the Back button is used, be sure to use the "Reset" command button to
clear the previous search.
If you cannot find an ingredient or service, use the Message Exchange feature.
